Interesting that Hillsong are using a creedal formula in writing songs these days. This seems to be a trend with the evangelical world in general. I wonder if evangelicals, even the more charismatic types like Hillsong, are taking more stock of the Fathers and the early church. The other interesting thing in this song is that there are images of Orthodox Churches in the film clip. Perhaps this represents a longing of evangelical Christians for something more rooted in history than what they usually get. 041b061a72
