  • In the Field Properties dialog box that appears, enter a name for your field in the Name box and choose a data type from the Type drop-down list. You can also specify other properties for your field such as size, decimal places, default value, validation rule etc.



  • Click OK to add your field to your table.



  • Repeat steps 5-6 for each field you want to add to your table.



  • When you are done adding fields to your table, click Save on the toolbar or select Save from the File menu to save your table file to your database file.



You have now created a table with fields for your database. To edit data in your table:



  • In the Database Designer window, select Browse from the View menu or click on the Browse button on the toolbar.



  • In the Browse window that opens up, you can see the records of your table in a grid format. You can add, edit, or delete records by clicking on the cells and typing or using the buttons on the toolbar. You can also sort, filter, or search records using the options on the toolbar or the menus.



When you are done editing data in your table, close the Browse window.
